He is an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University where he teaches the Infrastructure Security Engineering, Building Security, and Building Information Modeling courses. Dr. Chipley is the principal author of the FEMA 426 Reference Manual to Mitigate Buildings Against Terrorist Attacks, FEMA 453 Design Guidance for Multi-Hazard Shelters; co-author of the 427, 428, 429 and 452 FEMA risk mitigation series publications, and developed and taught the FEMA E155 Building Security course. He is the current Chair of the Readiness and Homeland Security Committee of the NoVA Society of American Military Engineers, and an active member of the US Green Building Council National Capital Region chapter, the George Washington Lambda Alpha chapter, and the Washington DC Project Management Institute chapter. Paula Chipley CBA Vice President Paula Chipley has over 25 years of financial, insurance, credit, risk management, and customer service experience and has previously worked for State Farm, Sedgewick, APG Federal Credit Union, American Red Cross, Avista Hospital, and other healthcare providers. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Currently, Ms. Chipley conducts analysis and auditing in the fields of credit, billing and accounts receivable for a supplier of natural gas, electric and wind energy. Her past roles have included Ankara Turkey Director of the Red Cross, insurance agent, insurance program management, office management, hospital business office manager, and director of guest services. Her vast experience across multiple disciplines provides a wealth of knowledge to bring exceptional customer service to the client.
